Im Yeong-gyu (Kwon Hae-hyo) has been blind since birth, but he has risen to become a master artisan who hand-engraves the most beautiful stamps in the world. One day, he and his son Dong-hwan receive an unexpected call from the police.

The skeletal remains of Jung Young-hee (Shin Hyun-been) - Yeong-gyu’s wife and Dong-hwan’s mother, who went missing 40 years ago - have been discovered. The police suggest the possibility that she may have been murdered. Shocked and curious about the mother he never knew, Dong-hwan begins tracing the truth behind her death with Kim Su-jin, a documentary producer who had been filming his father’s life story.

As they follow the clues, they encounter people who once worked with his mother at a garment factory four decades ago - people whose long-buried memories begin to reveal a hidden truth…
